to Bossman : You mean Vigan, the second oldest city in the country?
And yeah,Chavit has a mansion there at Baluarte which has structures of mahjong set,not sure if it is.
Good for you, enjoying your time touring the country...last time i heard you were in Boracay.
Didn't get the chance to see Baluarte from the inside, too many people there at the time, looked like Divisoria. The hotels were fully booked, they were telling people to go to the next town to ask for vacancies last Dec27. But we did find a hostel at Php100 per head per night, no aircon, no hot water, no service, just beds in a really big room of an old house with an old couple living in the same old house.

Vigan travel advisory: arrive on a friday so all the sites are open, some of them like museums are closed on Sundays or Mondays. Call and book ahead to be sure. If you know anyone there, ask them to make reservations for you in the old houses. There are rooms good for 10 at Php3000 a night!
Was hoping to go to Boracay last Nov/Dec but that didn't push thru.
This time we're sure, got the tickets already, 5 nights in Feb! Woohoo!
Hey Echuz! Nice to see you active again!
