after my last message i have a massive change of heart. I hate it ALL.

its too picky and annoying. To talk to gangmates in shoutbox is good enough, and the original chat was awesome the way it was!

This needs to be changed back, the bar at the bottom does your head in, why fix what isnt broken.

But its nice to see mark at least trying new things, however this time i thing it should be scrapped. Chat was fine the way it was

in the early days of MK, when we had 25 ppl online at once on a good day we didnt have a chat, i fought hard on the forums here to get a decent chat room added, and when it was it took off, ppl woudl come in and chat allll day, hell a couple woudlnt even train or anything, just chat..

for a lot of ppl MK revolves around chat, its where friendships are made and broken and u get to kno ppl and find out who u like and who u hate..

wars are started and ended over chat.. but now, u take away our chat and give us this crap that noone wants..

i say down with new chat! and i WONT BE CHANGING MY MIND...

ye i actually hav to agree the ful thing is corsing mor problems than needed straight after the crash .
the problem stil is happenin with it sayin ppl are online when they arnt it gets to 10 seconds then repeats an it never happened bfor this was put in place i say get rid !

Every since the new chat has been added some peoples accounts never go more then 9 seconds inactive. once it gets to 9 seconds it resets back to 'Last Active: 1 seconds ago'.

Me & CuteyGal tested this on mine & her profile & it happened to us both. maybe its connected to the chat feature.

So we have color now, and that's cool.. I do like that.. With that said, I still strongly dislike the new system for all of the reasons stated here by myself and others. I am still voting to do away with global, keep the old chat, keep private messages but make it so that you can appear offline or just shut the bar down completely, and make another way to organize the to people online list, friends first, then enemies, then everyone else.

ahhh why hasnt it been changed yet. I say scrap the lot, despite part of it not being as bad as the rest, id rather it just went back to being normal.
Like kot said, gang wars etc were brought upon by chat, now i cant really see 2 gangs going at it in chat on a screen 2cm by 2 where to hit each other you have to minimise it, type their name into search bar, then click them, then hit them. Phew, am knackered off just typing that....

OK I will be adding a minimize button soon, and I might consider removing global chat as the old chat room still exists.

Minimize button has been there for awhile ,whenever someone does a pchat with me ,I just minimize it after I  post a reply. And Yes admin ,I agree on removing the global chat,  inappropriate contents in chat is running out of hand in global chat.  Thanks
