What is the best way to make money?

I am fairly new to the game. I am level 10.

I know I can buy and sell items, but unless I am constantly online, I get mugged for all of the money.
I know about the Small Casino, Drug Run, etc.

But there are people who apparently have millions and I can't even imagine having that much money.

I have about 150K right now...

If your speed is high enough, and you keep on top of searching for mobsters, you can mug for $$. You can also do what I did when I started...sell your daily points. Because I sold my points, my stats suffered, but I was able to make a quick 100k or so every day. If you're not a RM, that helps quite a bit too.

If all else fails, you can ask for donations. It worked for me.

Yes...yes I do. But in my defense...I've only been mugging about 100k/day lately. That's a far cry from the 300k+ I used to mug.

I'll reiterate the idea of selling points. For a quick sell, drop 'em on the market at a price lower than the others in there. To play it safe, if/when you put them on the market, attack a higher level mobster to hospitalize yourself. That way, if they get bought, you'll have no risk of getting mugged by lurking muggers such as myself.

Also, I know that the money you earn from crimes is fairly insignificant, but if you want to maximize your crime earnings, always do the "Shoplift Electronics Store" crime. It pays out slightly more money per nerve point ($60/point) than any of the others.
